WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO YOGA?

We ask that you wear comfortable tops, bottoms, and underpants. You may wear socks in the studio, but no shoes, please.

DO I NEED A MAT OR PROPS?

If you have a mat, you may bring it. We do have loaner mats available at no charge. All props used during class will be provided.

CAN I USE MY OWN PROPS?

You may bring your own props. You are also welcome to use props provided by the studio to support your practice. Please note: some props, including the inversion trainers, weights, and other specialty props may only be used in designated classes for the safety of practitioners and staff.

HOW MANY STUDIOS DO YOU HAVE AND WHAT IS THE CAPACITY?

We have 3 studio spaces! Our main studio is on our first floor. Typically, classes hold 28 students. Some classes will accommodate up to 32 students, while our restorative and meditation classes tend to limit capacity to 15-18.

Our pilates reformer studio is on our first floor and has 5 reformer machines.

Our wellness studio is on our third floor and holds 17 students for movement classes and 25 for workshops and lectures.

CAN I KEEP MY PHONE WITH ME?

For the enjoyment of all students, we request phones be silenced and kept in the locker room when possible.

SHOULD I BRING WATER?

You may bring water to class. Please ensure your beverage container has a lid. Glass containers are not permitted in the practice space.

CAN I CHANGE AT THE STUDIO?

Yes! We have restrooms available for changing.

DO YOU BURN INCENSE, SAGE, CANDLES, OR OTHER SCENTS AT THE STUDIO?

We typically burn Nag Champa incense in the lobby space and from time to time in restrooms or common spaces if they are a bit stinky. Incense is not burned in studio spaces during class time. If you have an incense sensitivity, please let staff know upon your arrival and they will gladly refrain from using.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE?

We open doors 15 minutes before each class and lock doors 5 minutes before the start time. For the safety and comfort of all students, we ask that you arrive on time as we are unable to accommodate late arrivals.

I’M LATE AND ALREADY PAID FOR CLASS. IF I KNOCK ON THE WINDOW WILL THE INSTRUCTOR SNEAK ME IN?

We ask that you refrain from knocking on the studio windows during class if you are late. This can be disruptive or startling to practicing yogis. Doors lock 5 minutes before class.

I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND A POSE OR CUE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you have any questions about a pose, a cue, or something an instructor said in class, please stick around and chat with our team.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR A CLASS?

You may prepay with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) through MINDBODY or via our website. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, or cash in the studio before class, however, we can only guarantee space with advanced registration.

You may also pay with a Brick City Yoga gift card. Gift cards may be redeemed in the studio or online.

We are unable to accept checks.

CAN I SHARE A CLASS PACK WITH SOMEONE?

Yes. To share a class pack, you must set up sharing in your Mindbody account in advance of the class. From the mobile website or desktop, navigate to your profile, select add relationship, add the person you wish to share your class pack with, designate your relationship, and choose share pricing option.

Alternatively, you may email the studio with the full name and email of the person you wish to share your class pack with and a statement authorizing the share if you’d like us to set this up on your behalf.

Should your relationship change and you no longer want to share class packs, you will need to disable sharing in your account.

Please note, effective 1/15/2024, staff will no longer be able to apply one of your passes as payment for a guest in the studio if the above steps have not been taken.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE RETAIL PURCHASES?

All retail sales are final sales.

March 2020 COVID update: We do offer in-studio pick-up or shipping. Shipping charges are displayed at checkout before purchase and cover all applicable shipping fees, shipping and packing materials, and staff time associated with safely fulfilling orders. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Contact the studio for contactless curbside pickup.

CAN I HAVE A RETAIL ORDER SHIPPED?

Yes. We are currently only shipping via USPS. Please be advised there may be significant delays due to COVID-19. We do offer local pickup at no charge.

ARE CLASSES REFUNDABLE?

Classes are not refundable, but most class passes are good for 12 months. Individual workshops and events may vary; please check event pages for details. If you are unable to attend a class you have booked, please be sure to cancel at least 6 hours in advance so you don’t lose your pass.

If you are unsure if you will be able to use a full class pack, we recommend purchasing single drop-in classes; partial class packs cannot be refunded.

CAN MY CHILD COME WITH ME?

Please see our Studio Policy page for age requirements. Children are not permitted in the studio or waiting areas while parents/guardians practice.

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES/EVENTS?
