STUDIO POLICIES

BRICK CITY YOGA CLASSES

Our classes are between 45-90 minutes. Class times are noted on the schedule. Class styles vary by instructor — try them all to find your best fit!

NEW STUDENTS

New students will be required to sign a waiver prior to attending their first class. All students are required to check in at the front desk before entering class.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Individuals must be 18 years or older to practice yoga on their own. Children age 16 and older may attend with a legal guardian. Proof of age may be required. Children are not permitted in the studio while parents/guardians practice.

Classes designated for children will list appropriate ages.

ARRIVAL TIME

Doors open 15 minutes before each class and doors will lock 5 minutes before the start time of each class. Please arrive on time! Students will be expected to stay for the duration of class. If you need to leave early, please speak with the instructor prior to class to make arrangements.

SAFETY

For the safety of all students, firearms, other weapons and/or illegal drugs are prohibited from the premises of Brick City Yoga. Cameras monitor the premises and common areas.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

We offer a “Shoes & Stuff” storage area for personal belongings. Lockers are provided for student use. Students may bring their own locks or purchase locks at the front desk. Personal belongings and locks must be removed by students after each class. The studio is not responsible for personal belongings left in studio.

LOST & FOUND

We will keep any items found in the studio space for 30 days to be claimed. After 30 days, items will be donated to a local organization. Please be sure to double check that you are leaving with everything you arrived with – the studio is not responsible for personal belongings left in studio.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

We have a few guidelines to help ensure everyone has an enjoyable practice:

  • We ask that shoes and phones be stored in lockers.
  • If phones are needed, we ask that they be kept on silent and students excuse themselves to the hallway to accept calls or texts.
  • We ask that students keep conversations low while in the studio space.
  • Please respect your practice – take what you need, leave what you don’t, and do the same for fellow practitioners.
  • Please wipe down any borrowed mats and/or props with the cleaner provided.
  • Please wait until all students have exited the studio space before entering.
  • Please stay home if you are feeling ill or have a fever.
  • Please note: the studio does not tolerate foul language, violence or harassment of any kind.

CLASS CANCELATIONS

We understand life happens. If you have signed up for a class in advance and need to cancel, you may cancel yoga and reformer classes up to 6 hours prior to class start time to avoid losing your pass. Cancelations should be done through your MINDBODY app or account.

Cancelation and No-Show Policy Effective 1/1/2023

We know life happens! Our cancelation policy is structured to give you the flexibility to make changes to your booked classes, while allowing the studio plenty of time to admit waitlisted students and fill open space. We appreciate your cooperation!

Cancel Window

You may cancel a yoga or Pilates reformer class up to 6 hours prior to the class start time to avoid losing your pass.

Late Cancelation

A late cancelation is when you cancel a yoga or Pilates reformer class within the 6-hour window prior to class start time. With a late cancelation, you will lose your pass, but will not be charged any additional fees.

No-Show

A no-show happens if you neither late cancel nor attend a class you are pre-registered to attend. With a no-show, you will lose your pass and incur an additional $5 no-show fee. Fees will be charged automatically to the card on file. If no card is on file fees will be applied to the account to be paid prior to the next class.

Please note: most workshops and special events are nonrefundable. Please review individual event policies prior to purchase.

WORKSHOP CANCELATIONS

Workshop cancelation and refund policies are listed on individual workshops. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with the policy before signing up.

RECORDINGS + PHOTOS

Yoga classes may not be recorded (audio or visual) or photographed without expressed written consent from the owner. We do not permit observations of yoga classes.

INCLEMENT WEATHER & EMERGENCY POLICY

In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen emergencies, we will do our best to make the decision to cancel classes or workshops at least 2 hours ahead of time. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates, or call the studio.
