Jody (she/her) began her yoga practice 15 years ago when she was looking for a new workout to add to her fitness regimen. She soon discovered that yoga was about so much more than exercise. Through consistent practice, she learned to connect her breath to her movement which allowed her to stay present during her practice. Every time she stepped off of her yoga mat, she felt calmer and more focused. In 2018, she obtained her yoga teaching certification which complemented the group fitness certification she received in 2015. She also previously owned and operated a yoga studio for 4 years.
Jody is dedicated to helping students connect to themselves through movement and breathwork. She believes in the power of yoga to nurture the mind, body, and soul. When Jody isn’t teaching, she is busy taking care of her three children and three Yellow Labradors. She loves being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends.
