A native St. Louisan, avid runner, vegan in progress, lover of old sitcoms, reader of self-help books, and ‘rock and roll’ enthusiast, Ann has always movement and exploring its physical and mental benefits.

While raising three kids and working long hours in a high-pressure corporate environment for 20+ years, she leaned exclusively on running to manage stress and eventually layered in Pilates as a means of reducing knee pain and improving muscle strength and agility. More recently, she was introduced to yoga and quickly became a dedicated practitioner and lifetime devotee because of its healing power cultivated through the integration of mind, body, spirit, and community. As a teacher of both Pilates and yoga, she finds the disciplines to be extraordinarily complimentary, and her philosophy is that whether you choose to do one or both, it’s all about trying new things, self-inquiry, building confidence, challenging boundaries, goal setting, meeting people, and having fun along the way!
